Deswick Bonds Jr.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Deswick Bonds Jr. is an entrepreneur, executive consultant, author and public speaker. For more than 10 years, he has built and managed brands while working with people who are building businesses and serving their communities.
His consulting work covers leadership development, branding and marketing. He works with corporate teams, entrepreneurs and nonprofits on how they lead, communicate and move their organizations forward.
An award-winning insurance agent, Deswick is the Founder & President of First South Insurance. He also serves as Executive Director of the Legacy Chamber of West TN and a Board Member of Medina Soccer Association.
Ford Motor Company Fund grant recipient. Selected to represent West Tennessee, Deswick received a grant through the Ford Motor Company Fund-supported Idea Accelerator. Delivered in partnership with Builders + Backers and Heartland Forward, the program supported entrepreneurs developing new business ideas in the region surrounding BlueOval City.
